SHIFTING INTO THE FUTURE – INDUSTRY 4.0 (THE CONCEPT FOR THE FUTURE)

5 SEPTEMBER 2018, BANGSAR – Industrial mechanism has always been the gear to move the country, and the importance of having it upgraded has been discussed countless time either in industrial level up to the governmental level. The issues of having them shift from conventional methods to a more technological-based functions consistently regarded as negative force of the evolution.


Having said that, the effort to subscribe to this idea has never wavered as the government and the industrial-visionaries is fighting over this concept. Recently, SingEx (in collaboration with Deutsche Messe) has organized a Media Engagement Program here at Vertical Corporate Tower B, Avenue 10, Bangsar South to which they wanted to introduce their latest project entitled “Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific 2018” to promote Industry 4.0. This event is said to be a platform shaped by the industrial leaders and experts to support their regional manufacturers and enterprises in their quest to upgrade themselves towards a higher productivity programs (technological-based industry).


Presents during this event are YB Nurul Izzah Anwar, members of Permatang Pauh Parliament to show her support towards this effort. According to her speech, the government has always show interest in promoting this concept to which many programs and initiatives has been launched to support this cause – and one of the highlighted are the Technical & Vocational Education Training (TVET) programs. “I always believed that the solution lies on the mindset of our Rakyat. That is why we need to start from the very beginning of our societal basics – which is our educational system” said YB Izzah. To add, she also quoted that the myth of having robotic elements can disrupt the whole job market ratios are not applicable as this effort are compromised to develop more industrial leaders and high-skilled workers.


SingEX Executive Director, Mr. James Boey presented the whole concept of this event to which will be launch in Singapore this upcoming month from 16 – 18 October 2018. This event will covers various industries from Aerospace, Automotive, and Chemical & Biomedical Sciences, among others key industries. “This event is specially curated to serve Asia-Pacific manufacturing industries and businesses in adopting Industry 4.0. Will be presents during this event are expected to be stakeholders across the value chain of each industries and this event is hoped to give these people some inputs on what industry 4.0 concept can benefit their long-terms business sustainability.


Briefly about this exhibition, the event space is said to be 20,000 square meters area to which uphold multiple conferences, exhibitions, discussions and many more at one time. All the representatives signed for this event are experts known for their immense experience within their industrial lines to ensure rich content are served throughout this exhibition.
