CENTER OF FOUNDATION STUDIES (CFS) – GLAMOUR AND GLITZ NIGHT 2018

24.07.2018, Kuala Lumpur – The Center of Foundation Studies of International University of Malaya – Wales (IUMW) has organized “Glamour & Glitz Night 2018” here at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This glamorous night is attended by more than 200 students, lecturers, media and sponsors with their elegant and stylish outfit.

The night started off with an inspirational opening speech given by Puan Noraidah Mohd Shariff, the Director of Center of Foundation Studies that stated “I’m so proud of all of us…we started off with only 2 foundation students initially, but now we have grown this big…” said Puan Noraidah proudly as she pointed that IUMW CFS now already reach 1000 students in just a short period of 5 years and still counting.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Mr. Stephen Llyod Griffith also added that “There is nothing like this type of studies (foundation) in UK…” and he hope that all the students will keep on continuing their learning even though they completed their graduation date as “Education is Forever”. He also highlighted that he is happy with the development of this program which has groomed the students to be flexible enough to move around the globe.

Dancing and singing then take over the center stage as the students presented their talents for the crowd’s entertainment. Not to mention the great food served by the hotel’s chef brings out the evening mood altogether.
